Maybe you just want a more relaxing holiday. Either way, some countries may be able to offer you more than one type of trip, so make sure that you remember this. If you are looking for an adventure, then try and choose countries which have a lot of thrilling landscapes. This is essentially anywhere in Asia. If you want to relax then picture yourself on heavenly beaches, such as the ones in Greece, Thailand or even the Maldives. If you have a boat then explore the idea of boat storage, so you can get something booked before you go.
Time of Year
Chances are, you may have booked a specific block of time for your holiday so you can get away from work. If you want to plan a trip then you need to think about the best time of year to go in terms of the season and you also need to research the low season as well. Find out when the country is going to be expensive and when it is going to be cheap. Research weather patterns too. If you go to the Philippines, then you should know that they have a typhoon season, and they have two high seasons for every region. Before you fully plan on visiting another country, you need to check the visa requirements as well. In some cases, a travel document will be required for you to enter.
Location
Research is key when you try and plan out your trip. This is especially the case if you plan to travel around the country. Make sure that you go on Instagram or even Pinterest if you can, as this will help you to find blogs and sometimes photo inspiration, which gives you a good idea of what you should be expecting when you travel there yourself.
